•     Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education OR its equivalent examination AND secured minimum 50% marks (minimum 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Physically Handicapped, belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects Physics and Mathematics as compulsory and any one of optional subjects like Chemistry, Biology, Bio-Technology, or Technical Vocational Subject added together AND Candidate should have a valid JEE Score for 2014-15.
•     Admissions will be affected based on merit taking into consideration 50% weightage of marks obtained at HSC (Std. XII) and 50% weightage of marks obtained at JEE Mains, both taken together.
•     Diploma holders who have passed the Diploma course in Engineering/Technology with minimum of 50% marks and medium of instruction as English from the AICTE approved Polytechnics.
•     Diploma holders who have passed the Diploma course in Engineering/Technology with minimum of 50% marks and medium of instruction as English from the AICTE approved Polytechnics are also eligible for Direct Second Year in appropriate respective branch in case of vacancies arising after Direct Second Year Admissions as per the guidelines of the Competent Authority.
•     Reservation norms in all above cases will be as per the guidelines of the Competent Authority / State Govt. / DTE / University as applicable.
