engineering education domain in this region. Madhya Pradesh has a good
mix of Institutes of National Importance, deemed universities and

is located at Jabalpur, the other being in Tamil Nadu. Amongst the

emerged prominently in the state. However, nearly 65% of the engineering
schools have just average quality, and have little industry interface.
Beyond the top 10 institutions we could not find a single college that
publishes. And the state system has a tough job ahead to bring them on
par with the good institutes with funding and assistance.
